Daniel Hain was a global nomad who grew up in central Europe. The Netherlands was home but he also lived in Germany, Belgium and Spain. Daniel was truly bilingual in German and English from being fully immersed in the European culture at a very young age. Both of his parents were educators for the Department of Defense Schools in Europe. They taught American students on U.S. bases in foreign countries.

After graduating from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a degree in International Business and a minor in German, Daniel decided to pursue his dream as a firefighter and graduated from the Fire Academy following the hottest summer in the history of Texas on November 11, 2011. Daniel loved being a firefighter because it gave him the ability to make a difference in people’s lives and the community. While it was a very exciting career path, many firefighters had to work several jobs to sustain a living. This being the case for Daniel, he consciously made a decision to enter sales as his next career choice.

Daniel then went to work for an Austin based company called HomeAway which had recently been acquired by Expedia. His diverse upbringing allowed him to engage customers in such a way that he quickly became the top sales producer and won various incentive awards.  During the peak of his sales career with the Austin based company, Expedia chose to outsource the sales department overseas. Luckily, however, Daniel now knew that sales was definitely his forte and he always had a passion for real estate so he became a licensed Realtor.

Daniel’s parents always told him to learn each and every job position inside and out so he jumped at the opportunity to advance and round-out his skill bank as the Business Development Manager at Berkshire Hathaway and solidify his sales potential by developing his knowledge of all components within the structure of an upper-level real estate company.
